Opportunity:

Radiographer II - Radiographer II

Job Details:

• Work Saturday/Sunday/Monday schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call requirement one time per month during day shifts
• Operate standard and portable radiology equipment to perform radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies
• Perform specialized imaging procedures including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastro-intestinal series and body section radiography
• Assist physicians during specialized imaging procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and film output problems
• Act as resource and preceptor for other Radiographers and students
• Circulate to other diagnostic radiology areas as assigned (surgery, trauma, pediatrics)
• May participate in training programs for Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Special Procedures
• Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for assigned area
• Graduate of CAAHEP or JRCERT accredited educational program required
• ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI credentials must be current upon hire
• AHA BLS certification required
• One year full-time experience as certified radiologic technology professional preferred
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
• Strong computer skills and interpersonal communication abilities required
