Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required with CTICU focus experience preferred
• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in hospital setting
• Assess and care for patients with complex medical conditions including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and evaluation of patient care
• Assess readiness to learn of patients, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with patients and families to prepare and update care plans
• Identify and address cultural and ethnic issues in patient care planning
• Participate in performance improvement activities and unit goal development
• Required certifications: North Carolina RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider (AHA or ARC)
• Required education: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from accredited nursing school
• Preferred education: BSN or MSN from accredited nursing school
