Opportunity:

Radiology Interventional Technologist - Radiology Interventional Technologist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week assignment duration
• On-call and overtime opportunities available
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with neurological case experience
• Must work in comprehensive stroke facility environment
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT with advanced registry in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV)
• Preferred experience in Vascular Radiography
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• Must maintain required hours of continued medical education
• Prepare sterile rooms using proper sterile technique skills
• Prep patients and assist physicians with scrub-in procedures
• Perform all 3D imaging and clean up spaces after procedures
• Work with Siemens technology and Cerner EMR system
• Explain examination procedures to patients and obtain medical history
• Prepare contrast media, medications, and IV solutions
• Set up sterile equipment, physiological monitors, and pressure injectors
• Assist radiologists in performing complex diagnostic invasive procedures
• Complete PACS and RIS system documentation and imaging procedures
• Perform quality assurance procedures and maintain radiation protection principles
