Opportunity:

RN - Op RN

Job Details:

• Work 1.0 FTE day shift with on-call and weekend duties as needed
• Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required
• Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned patients during shifts
• Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable patient care
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols
• Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout care episodes
• Assume responsibility for clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing
• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment
• At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required
• Two years current experience required in small PACU and Pre-Op experience
• EPIC experience preferred (can train on-site)
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
