RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Report to and work under supervision of Nurse Manager/Director
• One year minimum nursing experience required
• Trauma Level 1 experience required
• No block schedules available
• Must hold current North Carolina RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Nursing diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited nursing school required
• BSN or MSN from accredited nursing school preferred
• Assess and plan care for patients with complex medical-surgical conditions
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required
• Utilize healthcare organization standards, policies and procedures
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Document and communicate relevant information for continuity of care
• Participate in unit goals and performance improvement activities
