Opportunity:

Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Entry-level position under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor
• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with ordered procedures
• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting of equipment
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completion and documentation standards
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Must have one of these required certifications: ARRT - Vascular Interventional Radiography, ARRT - Cardiac Interventional Radiography, ARRT Radiography, or CCI - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Associate's degree or higher required
• Must be able to work as part of a team, multi-task, and remain calm in stressful situations
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate attention to detail required
