Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• CTICU focus experience required (CVICU acceptable)
• Level 1 Trauma experience required with minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in hospital setting
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs
• Participate in patient education and assess readiness to learn of patients/families/caregivers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in evaluation of patient care
• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
• Required certifications: North Carolina RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider (AHA or ARC)
• Required education: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from accredited nursing school
• Preferred education: BSN or MSN from accredited nursing school
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
