Opportunity:
Radiology Interventional Technologist
Job Details:
• 13-week contract assignment
• Work under the direction of a Radiologist performing invasive diagnostic procedures
• Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for examinations
• Prepare contrast media, medications, and IV solutions for patient administration
• Set up sterile equipment, physiological monitors, pressure injectors, and imaging equipment
• Actively assess patient condition before, during, and after all procedures
• Manually control equipment to obtain proper diagnostic information
• Demonstrate radiation protection principles including patient shielding and ALARA techniques
• Complete PACS image exception resolution and ensure high quality image delivery
• Perform RIS study indexing including study begin, end, and completion documentation
• Assist with training new personnel and students assigned to the division
• Perform quality assurance procedures and maintain medical record documentation
• Minimum 3 years previous experience required
• Previous experience in Trauma Level 1 facility required
• Catheterization lab experience required
• Must work specifically as IR Tech, not general X-ray
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must maintain required continuing medical education hours
• BLS certification required
• ARRT registration with advanced registry in Cardiac-Interventional (CI), Vascular-Interventional (VI), or Cardiovascular-Interventional (CV) required
• Additional ARRT specialization certifications highly preferred
• English language proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
