Opportunity:
Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II
Job Details:
• Work full-time weekdays from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with one variable weekday off per week
• On-call requirements: 1 weekend per month (5:00 PM Friday to 6:30 AM Monday) and 4 weeknights per month (5:00 PM to 6:30 AM next day)
• No weekend commitment outside of on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract assignment
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cath/EP lab required
• Must be able to scrub for all types of heart catheterizations, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and EP procedures
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Preferably RCIS or RCES licensure, or ARRT licensure acceptable with scrub experience
• Knowledge of Merge Hemo documentation system preferred
• Must demonstrate understanding of cardiac, vascular, respiratory, and renal physiology and pathology
• Ability to recognize ECG waveform morphology, wave patterns, and lethal arrhythmias
• Must understand all cardiac medications and their pharmacokinetic actions
• Ability to monitor diagnostic cardiac catheter procedures and percutaneous interventions
• Must be able to perform cardiac outputs, O2 saturations, and ACT measurements
• Ability to work in sterile environment wearing lead aprons up to 5 lbs for extended periods
• Must be comfortable working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• High school diploma or GED required with graduate degree from accredited Allied Health Sciences program

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
