Opportunity:
Sonographer - Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II
Job Details:
• Provide specialized cardiovascular imaging services to adult and pediatric patient populations
• Work independently under general to limited supervision performing diagnostic procedures
• 3 days of call per month including Friday/Saturday and one weeknight per month or 2 weeknights/Sunday
• May be scheduled at outpatient clinics not on main campus
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders
• Utilize specialized imaging equipment and techniques for diverse diagnostic procedures
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completion and quality standards
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment per manufacturer guidelines
• Provide instruction and mentoring to less experienced team members
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• 3-5 years of experience required as certified cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional
• Must be graduate of CAAHEP accredited educational program
• Current Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association required
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI credentials in cardiovascular or radiologic specialty
• Must demonstrate core to intermediate-level knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging technologies
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize assignments
• Strong communication skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
