Opportunity:
Radiology Interventional Technologist
Job Details:
• 13-week contract position
• Work under the direction of a Radiologist performing invasive procedures
• Minimum 3 years previous experience required
• Previous experience in a Trauma Level 1 facility required
• Cath Lab experience required
• Must function as an IR Tech - not general x-ray
• Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for examinations
• Obtain additional patient medical history information as necessary
• Prepare prescribed contrast medium, medications, and IV solutions
• Review clinical data and analyze anatomical structures
• Prepare and set up sterile equipment, physiological monitors, and imaging equipment
• Actively assess patient condition before, during, and following procedures
• Perform all imaging procedures demonstrating radiation protection principles
• Complete all study indexing in RIS including study begin, study end, and completion
• Resolve image exceptions and ensure high-quality image delivery into PACS
• Perform Quality Assurance procedures as appropriate
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• Must maintain Healthcare Provider certification (BLS)
• Must be registered with ARRT with advanced registry in CI, VI, or CV
• Additional ARRT specialization certifications highly preferred
• Must maintain required hours of continued medical education

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
