RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 1.0 FTE position with 8-hour or 10-hour shifts starting at 6:30 AM
• Weekends and call as needed
• Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles required
• Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients during shift
• Provide safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols
• Assume responsibility for clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing
• Minimum 2 years current experience required in large OR
• Must be able to scrub and work in fast-paced environment
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
• New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required
• BLS certification required through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
• PALS and ACLS preferred
• Epic experience preferred but can train on-site
• Ortho, EENT, and/or vascular experience a plus
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
