Opportunity:

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or open to 3x12 shifts
• Must be able to scrub and circulate cardiac cases
• One year of nursing experience required
• Must have cardiac experience
• North Carolina RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Nursing diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school required; BSN or MSN preferred

• Provide competent clinical nursing care in cardiovascular operating room setting
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in operative setting
• Utilize nursing process through technology, therapeutic intervention, and evidence-based practice
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary health team members
• Perform patient assessments including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety needs
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex cardiac problems
