Opportunity:
Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts with rotating day off per week
• Call coverage as needed
• 13 or 26 week contract options available
• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision of mentor/preceptor
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• One of the following certifications required: ARDMS-RDCS, ARDMS-RVT, ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography, ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography, ARRT Radiography, CCI-RCCS, CCI-RCS, CCI-RCIS, or CCI-RVS
• Associate's degree not required
• Manager will consider candidates with no travel and no trauma experience
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders
• Utilize specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and high-level disinfection per manufacturer guidelines
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Provide patient-centric care in acute inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, and urgent care settings
• Must demonstrate ability to work in stressful situations and multi-task effectively

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
