RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 8-week contract assignment
• Local travelers preferred, but will accept travelers from other areas
• Epic experience required
• Free parking provided
• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in hospital setting
• Participate in patient education and assessment of learning needs
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for patient care evaluation
• Assess complex patient situations to determine care priorities
• Include physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects of care
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate with multidisciplinary resources
• One year of nursing experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN or ASN from accredited school required (BSN or MSN preferred)
• Licensed to practice as Registered Nurse in North Carolina required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required
• English language proficiency required (read, write, speak)
