Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech
Job Details:
• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision of a mentor/preceptor
• Deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
• Utilize highly specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting and user maintenance per manufacturer guidelines
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and enter technical data/findings
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure all required elements are completed and documented
• Need experience in Neuro IR, Vascular IR, or General IR
• Must maintain accurate records and demonstrate ability to multi-task in stressful situations
• Work with minimum supervision and demonstrate attention to detail
• Required certifications: One of the following - ARDMS (RDCS or RVT), ARRT (Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or Radiography), CCI (RCCS, RCS, RCIS, or RVS), and BLS
• Must be able to work as part of a team and consistently report to work as scheduled
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
