RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care
• Utilize nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to healthcare team
• Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals
• 2+ years recent experience as PCU/Stepdown/Telemetry RN required
• Experience with medication drips required
• ACLS and BLS from AHA certifications required and must be in hand
• Current Michigan State Board of Nursing licensure required
• Graduation from accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Overtime billed after 48 hours
• Facility cannot accommodate block scheduling requests but will try to schedule consecutive shifts
• Auto offers approved for scheduling
• Must demonstrate clinical knowledge and analytical abilities for effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform wide variety of professional nursing services
• Must effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
