RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care in operating room setting
• Trauma Level 1 experience required with minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Interview process required - must provide 2 weeks of interview availability with submission
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in hospital setting
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs
• Participate in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize healthcare organization nursing standards, policies and procedures
• Participate in education programs and professional development activities
• Required: North Carolina RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC)
• Required education: Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school of nursing
• Preferred education: BSN or MSN from accredited school of nursing
