RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
• Report to and be accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in hospital setting
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• One (1) year of nursing experience minimum requirement
• Oncology experience preferred but will accept med/surg experience
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs
• Participate in patient education and assess readiness to learn
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in evaluation of patient care
• Conduct patient assessments including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety needs
• Develop and update plans of care in collaboration with patients and families
• Promote safe, clean and secure hospital environment
• Required certifications: North Carolina RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Education requirement: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from accredited nursing school
• BSN or MSN from accredited nursing school preferred
• English language proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking required
