Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

Sonographer - Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II

Job Details:

• Intermediate-level position providing specialized cardiovascular and radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patient populations
• Schedule includes 3 days of call per month - Friday/Saturday/1 weeknight or 2 weeknights/Sunday
• May be scheduled at outpatient clinic off-site from main campus
• Cover procedures in the OR/CCL (Operating Room/Cardiac Catheterization Lab)
• May be required to perform fetal echoes
• Utilize highly specialized imaging equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures
• Conduct post-procedure reviews and confirm all required study elements are completed
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and enter technical data/findings
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and equipment maintenance per manufacturer instructions
• 3-5 years of experience as certified cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional required
• Must graduate from CAAHEP accredited educational program
• Current Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required
• Required certifications: ARDMS (RDCS, RVT), CCI (RCIS, RCES, RCS), or ARRT (R, CT, MR, CI, S, VS)
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and handle emergency situations
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team
• Provide mentoring and instruction to less experienced team members
