Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts with rotating day off per week
• Call averages 8-10 days per month, may vary with census
• 13 or 26 week contract available
• Call as needed basis
• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision
• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patients
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders
• Operate highly specialized cardiovascular and radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment
• Must complete Associate Degree or above in Radiologic Technology OR 2-year RCIS program
• Required certifications: BLS/ACLS and one of the following: ARDMS (RDCS or RVT), ARRT (Vascular/Cardiac Interventional Radiography or Radiography), CCI (RCCS, RCS, RCIS, or RVS)
• Candidates with no travel and no trauma experience will be considered
• Must demonstrate ability to work under pressure, maintain accurate records, and communicate professionally with patients and families
• Core knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and cardiovascular/radiologic technologies required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
