RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 0.9 FTE position with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend and on-call/call back shifts as needed
• Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles required
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document according to policy
• Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout care episode
• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing
• Minimum 2 years current experience in specialty required
• At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required
• Must be team player, flexible, and comfortable in fast-paced environment
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
• New Mexico or Compact State nursing license required
• BLS certification through AHA, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross required
• EPIC experience preferred with on-site training available
• English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing required
