RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 3x12 hour shifts
• Must have cardiac experience and be able to scrub and circulate cardiac cases
• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients in the operative setting
• Utilize healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies and procedures
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs
• Participate in patient education and assessment of learning needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care
• One year of nursing experience required
• North Carolina RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Nursing diploma, ADN or ASN from accredited school required
• BSN or MSN from accredited school preferred
