RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 1.0 FTE schedule with 4x10 varied day shifts
• On-call availability as needed
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Float between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles as required
• Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients during shift
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses
• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols
• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing
• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment
• At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required
• Two years current experience required in specialty
• EPIC experience preferred (can train on-site)
• Required certifications: New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Must pass BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmias) testing during first week of assignment
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
• English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing required
