Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts schedule
• Call as needed with rotating day off per week
• 13 or 26 week contract available
• Entry-level position with immediate to general supervision from mentor/preceptor
• Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patients
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders
• Utilize specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure completion and documentation quality
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and enter technical findings
• Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment
• Must have completed Associate Degree or above in Radiologic Technology OR 2 year RCIS program
• BLS/ACLS certification required
• One of the following certifications required: ARDMS (RDCS/RVT), ARRT (Vascular/Cardiac Interventional Radiography), CCI (RCCS/RCS/RCIS/RVS)
• Manager will consider candidates with no travel and no trauma experience
• Must be able to work as part of a team, multi-task, and remain calm in stressful situations
• Ability to maintain accurate records and exercise sound judgment with confidential information
