Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II

Job Details:

• Work full-time weekdays from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with one variable weekday off per week
• On-call responsibilities include 1 weekend per month (5:00 PM Friday to 6:30 AM Monday) and 4 weeknights per month (5:00 PM to 6:30 AM next day)
• No weekend commitment outside of on-call requirements
• 13-week contract assignment
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cath/EP lab required
• Must be able to scrub for all types of heart caths, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and EP procedures
• Preferably RCIS or RCES licensure; ARRT licensure acceptable with scrub experience in cath lab
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Knowledge of Merge Hemo documentation system preferred
• Must demonstrate understanding of cardiac, vascular, respiratory, and renal physiology and pathology
• Ability to recognize ECG waveform morphology, wave patterns, and lethal arrhythmias
• Monitor diagnostic cardiac catheter procedures and percutaneous interventions
• Perform cardiac outputs, O2 saturations, and ACT measurements
• Ability to work in sterile environment for extended periods and wear lead aprons up to 5 lbs
• Must be comfortable working both independently and within multidisciplinary team
• High school diploma or equivalent required with graduate degree from accredited Allied Health Sciences program
