RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in operating room setting
• Must have previous L&D (Labor and Delivery) experience
• Must be able to circulate for C-sections
• Must be able to triage for OB (Obstetrics)
• One year of nursing experience required
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
• Assess patient readiness to learn and developmental factors affecting ability to learn
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions for patient care evaluation
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare organization standards, policies and procedures
• Required certifications: North Carolina RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), NRP
• Required education: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from accredited school of nursing
• Preferred education: BSN or MSN from accredited school of nursing
• English language proficiency required (read, write, speak)
