RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care in operating room setting
• Must be able to circulate for C-sections
• Must be able to triage for OB cases
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems
• Perform bedside point of care testing as required
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Participate in patient assessment including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize healthcare organization nursing standards, policies and procedures
• Participate in professional development and education programs
• One year of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: North Carolina RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, NRP
• Nursing diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school required
• BSN or MSN preferred
• English language proficiency required (read, write, speak)
