Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Techno II

Job Details:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM and Friday: 7:45 AM - 1:00 PM
• Assist radiologists in performing invasive diagnostic techniques including needle biopsies, aspirations, and guided needle-wire placement exams
• Provide standardization and training to residents regarding ultrasound examinations
• Perform ultrasound procedures under general or direct supervision as defined by procedure and physician
• Recognize sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissues, structures, and blood flow
• Analyze sonography findings to ensure comprehensive exams and provide sufficient data to physicians
• Image structures while obtaining Doppler signals and recording images with patient information
• Advise radiologists and referring physicians of examination results and provide preliminary diagnostic information
• Previous OBGYN experience required
• Experience with GE Voluson 18 and Siemens Redwood equipment required
• Epic, PACS and ViewPoint experience required
• Three years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech required
• Must complete departmental specific Sonographer competencies within twelve months of hire
• Completion of twelve month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography/General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate required
• RDMS registration by ARDMS with certification in at least one modality specific to department required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required
• Must complete annual modality competencies and assigned continuing education
