MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience working as an MRI Technologist required
• Trauma experience preferred
• Respond to MRI orders for trauma, emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient cases
• Work with Siemens Magnetom Skyra 3T MRI equipment
• Required to take call shifts - call requirements can be discussed with department manager
• Orientation offered Mondays only, including equipment and process training prior to independent patient care
• Use MediTech EMR charting system
• Must wear professional scrubs in any color - no other facility logos permitted
• Facility provides lead aprons - personal aprons not permitted
• Required certifications: California Radiologic Technologist certification, ARRT-MR registration, BLS through American Heart Association
• California Fluoroscopy License preferred
• Must pass specialty competency exam with 80% or higher score
• Complete Joint Commission Core I, II, and III training with passing score of 80% or higher
• Drug screen, physical, background check, and various health screenings required within specified timeframes
