RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Acute Med Surg Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work in a 24-bed Med Surg unit with patient population including orthopedic, post-surgical, and pediatric patients over 12 years of age
• Telemetry monitored beds available on unit with 1:4 patient ratio
• Float to ED, OB, and Behavioral Health as task nurse as needed
• Hospitalist available 24/7 (onsite during day, on-call at night)
• Minimum 2 years experience working in Med Surg unit required
• Previous experience working in community or rural hospital setting required
• Must be teamwork oriented, coachable, and comfortable asking questions
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• CPI or MOAB certification required (MOAB training available on-site for $150 if not already certified)
• Any color scrubs permitted (should not contain names of other healthcare facilities)
• Orientation may start any day of the week with brief hospital orientation followed by two days of unit orientation
• Must be able to hit the ground running and work with up-to-date equipment
