Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work in stepdown unit with 1:5 patient ratio
• Care for patients with CHF, cardiac angiogram before and after care, ablation, pacemaker, TEE, cardioversion, stroke
• Manage cardiac drips including Nitro, Amiodarone, Cardiazem, Nirdipine, Heparin, and Lidocaine with titration required
• Every other weekend schedule
• 16-hour shifts
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time off requests between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• At least 2 years of previous stepdown experience required
• At least 1 travel contract completed required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Iowa nursing license required
• Use Cerner Powerchart EMR system
• Must be more than 50 miles from market
• Same day interviews offered for qualified candidates
