Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process including ongoing assessment of total patient needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient education as prescribed by physician authorized plan of care
• Function as team leader/member and resource to others while delegating and overseeing support staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to establish goals and outcomes for each patient
• Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in updating/revising plans with team members
• Respond to call lights, assist with transfers, respond to alarms, and perform other nursing duties as appropriate
• Work every other weekend and holiday schedule
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Neuro PCU experience required
• Recent traveler experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Michigan nursing license required
• Must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and hospital-specific policies
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
• Skills checklist current to 1 year and 2 supervisory reference forms within last two years required
