Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend schedule
• 16 hours guaranteed (NBO)
• Must have at least 2 years of Med Surg or Stepdown experience
• First time travelers accepted
• Must be comfortable floating to ER department
• Must be comfortable with acute patient population including critical drips and gtts
• EPIC experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Iowa nursing license required
• Must be at least 50 miles from hospital (local candidates not accepted)
• May be required to float within same discipline across local campuses
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time off requests between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care and management in medical surgical telemetry stepdown unit
• Same day interviews available
