Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Operate highly technical ultrasound equipment to produce high-frequency sound images for physician diagnosis and treatment
• Perform variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative
• Must be able to perform breast imaging and DVT exams
• Work with 2-year-old Samsung ultrasound unit and Fuji PACS system with Meditech
• Maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, and interdepartmental personnel
• Work under general supervision following established procedures
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required
• Graduate of approved/accredited School of Ultrasound required
• Must be RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Sonographer)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum one year of previous ultrasound experience required
• Working knowledge of CR and PACS preferred
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility - no locals
• No on-call or weekend requirements
