Opportunity:

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity
• Apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis with initiative and independent responsibilities
• Provide proper patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures
• Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with OSHA standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR and PACS applications
• Must have excellent patient care skills and be current with continuing education for both radiology and mammography
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings with holiday coverage if required
• Weekend coverage and holiday coverage required as needed
• 8 hours non-billable orientation required
• 2 years X-ray experience and 1 year current experience required
• 2 years current mammography experience required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Massachusetts state license required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• Cannot reside within 50 miles of facility
• No 10/12 hour shift requests will be considered - must work posted schedule
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
• Attend annual mandatory education including blood borne pathogens and infection control
