Description
Opportunity:
RN - OR
Job Details:
• Assess the needs of each patient before and during surgical procedures while maintaining patient safety
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for surgical patients
• Provide leadership to the OR team and supervise activity in the operating room
• Anticipate and coordinate schedule changes for the room
• Assemble equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
• Assist anesthesia as necessary and monitor sterile field
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, OR team, supervisors, and ancillary departments
• Work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Epic experience highly preferred
• Michigan nursing license required
• Must live outside 50-mile radius (facility will not consider local candidates)
• Participate in staff development through continuing education, in-services, and meetings
• Skills checklist current within 1 year and 2 supervisory reference forms within last two years required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
