Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging on patients using highly technical equipment
• Administer contrast materials as required including IV and oral contrast
• Prepare scan room and patient for examinations
• Interview and screen patients for contraindications prior to MRI studies
• Transport patients into exam room and assist with appropriate positioning
• Perform scans with attention to proper positioning and protocols
• Utilize correct protocols, coils, restraints and scanning materials
• Ensure proper image marking and orientation
• Prepare records for radiologist review and ensure clinical information is complete
• Work one weekend per month
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2+ years of MRI experience required
• Siemens experience required
• Associate degree required
• Active MRI certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Skills checklist current within one year required
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius (facility will not consider local candidates)
