Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Use ultrasound technology to create real-time images of the heart's chambers, valves, and blood vessels
• Help diagnose heart conditions including murmurs, heart failure, and arrhythmias by identifying structural issues
• Assess heart function and cardiovascular health
• Operate complex echocardiography equipment
• Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Record and document imaging data accurately
• Work closely with cardiologists as crucial support for cardiovascular health assessment
• Weekend shifts every other weekend from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities typically 3 times in 2-week period plus one weekend day
• Monday-Friday on-call hours from 4:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekend on-call hours from 3:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Must reside within 45 minutes of hospital for STAT echo protocol adherence
• 2 years of echocardiography experience required
• Required certifications: ARDMS AE certification and BLS (AHA)
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application preferred
