Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Provide skilled nursing services for ambulatory surgery patients in post-anesthesia care unit
• Assess and implement care for patients recovering from operative procedures
• Regularly assess patient needs and provide nursing care according to physician-authorized plans
• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, and responding to call lights
• Assist with patient transfers and respond to alarms as needed
• Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members for care improvements
• Process physician orders and perform prescribed care accurately and in timely manner
• Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications
• On-call responsibilities required
• Weekend work required
• Must have 2+ years of RN experience
• Pre/Post operative experience required
• PACU experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Michigan nursing license required
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
