Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Set up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures
• Process and perform quality control checks on cine radiographic images
• Assist in preparing patients for procedures and provide post-cath care
• Assist cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians to ensure timely and efficient use of cardiac cath lab/special procedures
• Prep patients, sterile tray set up, and room clean up responsibilities
• Manipulate equipment and set appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality
• Operate variety of electronic equipment including cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, and pacemakers
• Perform oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements
• Work every weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Cath Lab Tech experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), ARRT, BLS (AHA)
• Skills checklist current to 1 year required
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required
• Facility will not consider local candidates within 50-mile radius
