Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Set up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures
• Process and perform quality control checks on cine radiographic images
• Assist in preparing patients for procedures and provide post-catheterization care
• Assist cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians to ensure timely and efficient use of cardiac cath lab
• Prep patients, perform sterile tray set up, and complete room clean up (35% of responsibilities)
• Manipulate equipment and set appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality (35% of responsibilities)
• Operate various electronic equipment including cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, and pacemakers (30% of responsibilities)
• Perform oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements
• Work every weekend schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Cath Lab Tech experience required
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), ARRT, BLS (AHA)
• Skills checklist current within one year required
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within last two years required
