Opportunity:

Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity
• Apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis with initiative and independence
• Provide proper patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies
• Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with OSHA standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR and PACS applications
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
• Holiday coverage required if needed
• Weekend schedule to be determined
• 8 hours non-billable orientation required
• 2 years experience required with 1 year current experience
• ARRT (R) Certification required
• Massachusetts Radiology License must be in hand or proof of application required
• BLS certification required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Must maintain department competencies and attend annual mandatory education
• Excellent patient care skills required
• Must be current with continuing education for radiology
• No more than 5 days requested time off will be accepted
• Must not reside within 50 miles of facility
