Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Provide direct and indirect care for a group of patients across various age populations
• Utilize nursing process including assessment of biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning factors
• Plan and prescribe nursing interventions, implement care plans, and evaluate care rendered
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the life span
• Assess patient data reflective of age and status and interpret information for appropriate care
• On-call responsibilities for weekends and holidays
• Weekend and holiday work required
• 1+ year of Medical/Surgical experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
• Must follow unit and hospital policies and procedures for patient care
