Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures using radiological technology for minimally invasive techniques
• Act as first point of contact for referrals and patients
• Attend patient consultations and perform initial examinations and assessments
• Make recommendations to referring physicians, patients, and families under interventional radiologist guidance
• Perform daily rounds and communicate patient progress to medical staff and radiologists
• Handle heart catheterizations, PCI procedures, IABP insertions, STEMI calls, IVUS/IFR, and interventional radiology cases
• Maintain 30-minute response time for call situations
• Work 8-10 on-call days per month
• Weekend schedule to be determined
• 2 years of catheterization laboratory experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), ARRT, BLS (AHA)
• Illinois state license required
• COVID and flu vaccinations required with no declinations approved
• Must have experience with interventional radiology cases and cardiac procedures
