Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg PCU Tele

Job Details:

• Work on an adaptive acuity unit with 1:5 nurse to patient ratio on 25-bed unit
• Occasionally provide PCU care with 3:1 ratio - this is non-negotiable and may not be refused
• Charge nurse responsibilities required - will not consider candidates without charge experience
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage as required
• Must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
• Overtime worked at regular rate with no multiplier
• Holiday multiplier of 1.25%
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• 2+ years current med surg/telemetry experience required
• Charge experience required
• Progressive Care Unit/PCU experience strongly required
• Drip experience required
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 months previous travel experience required (non-negotiable)
• Small critical access facility experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Vermont RN license or compact required
• Skills checklists required for PCU, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry (current within 1 year)
• One supervisory signed reference from past two years required
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
