Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work in medical surgical telemetry unit providing care for all types of med surg patients including overflow of post-operative surgical hips and knees
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1 on a 24-bed unit
• Work with heparin drips and remote telemetry monitoring
• Required to float across all campuses including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran
• Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation when scheduled
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must wear navy blue solid scrubs
• Work with EPIC EMR system
• 24 months minimum experience in Med Surg/Med Surg Tele required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required
• Skills checklist specific to medical surgical telemetry required
• Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
