Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician
Job Details:
• Perform quality control measures on nuclear medicine equipment and devices including troubleshooting and maintenance
• Confer with physicians to determine appropriate procedures for effective operations
• Document all laboratory operations including receipt and disposition of radioactive materials, instrument and procedural quality control data, patient procedures, and medical records
• Exercise judgment in performing scheduled examinations and procedures to ensure compliance with established guidelines
• Provide clinical instructions for radiology students and residents
• Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, physicians, nurses, residents, and patients
• On-call schedule to be determined by facility
• Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
• Must have 24 months minimum of current Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Must have active permanent or temporary Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Medical Board
• Must have current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) or CNMT within 6 months of hire
• Must be able to administer intramuscular and intravenous injections and start intravenous lines
• Must be able to operate Gamma cameras, including SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanners, nuclear medicine computers, and Cardiac Stress equipment
• Must have basic knowledge of nuclear medicine therapeutic treatments and EKG to perform cardiac studies
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
