Opportunity:

Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity
• Apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis with initiative and independent responsibilities
• Provide proper patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies
• Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with OSHA standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR and PACS applications
• Must have excellent patient care skills
• Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
• Holiday coverage required if needed
• 8-hour non-billable orientation required
• 2 years experience required with 1 year current experience
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS (AHA)
• Massachusetts Radiology License required (must be in hand or proof of application)
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Must not reside within 50 miles of facility
• No schedule accommodations or block scheduling available
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off accepted (less preferred)
• Attend annual mandatory education including blood borne pathogens and infection control
