Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend schedule
• 16 hours guaranteed per week
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
• Required to float across all campuses including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran
• Patient types include hip/knee surgeries, mastectomies, and abdominal surgeries
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Unit has 30 beds
• Navy scrubs required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Medical Surgical and Tele/Telemetry experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• EPIC electronic medical systems experience required
• Must have 24 months of current medical surgical experience
• Skills checklist specific to medical surgical discipline required
• Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Professional reference from charge nurse/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months preferred
• Orientation dates available: 3/2, 3/16, 3/30
